The Tools
Automation
Manager has an extensive set of tools for machine vision, gaging,
thermal imaging and motion control. Consequently, AM can control
all levels of inspection/operation: the motion, cameras, probes, IOs,
etc.
AM also has a multimedia toolset
that can be integrated into inspection programs. These multimedia
tools can display which IOs are on/off, they can show when a part
passes/fails, and they can lead an operator through steps in a
calibration. Text can be displayed on the screen to help the
operator know what needs to be done next or what value needs to be
entered into the system. The multimedia engine in AM is so powerful it sells as its own product in the church worship market.
