Electronic Part Measurement

Parts coming out of a machine at a rate of 450-600 ppm (parts per minute) are inspected by a high resolution camera (1300*1000 pixels). Due to the variation of the parts process engineers configure various programs to inspect sizes, holes, shapes etc.

Note: Automation Manager runs two concurrent threads to keep up with the inspection rate. One thread is grabbing images while the other thread does the analysis. Error information and images are saved.
